Welcome to the Pet Health Harbour (PHH) Forum! Our forum is designed to foster a supportive and informative community where pet owners can share experiences, seek advice, and connect with others who are passionate about pet health. By accessing or using the PHH Forum, you agree to abide by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility and Access

  • Paid Membership Requirement: Only registered and paid members of Pet Health Harbour are permitted to participate in the forum. This includes the ability to post topics, ask questions, and respond to other users’ posts.
  • View-Only Access for Non-Paid Members: Non-paid members can view forum topics and answers but cannot participate in discussions. This allows potential members to explore the forum and consider upgrading to a paid membership.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Content Guidelines

  • External Links: To maintain the integrity of our forum and focus discussions on pet health, sharing links to external sites in comments or threads is discouraged. However, you are welcome to share links to PHH resources and articles.
  • Medical Advice: The PHH Doctors (Founders) reserve the right to determine whether or not to allow users to give medical advice to one another. This is to prevent conflicts with established medical standards and to avoid any confusion about whether advice is coming from PHH or another source.
  • Image Sharing: Sharing images is encouraged as it can help users better explain their pet’s situation. Images from your pet gallery in the portal area or your personal computer are acceptable. However, any offensive or indecent images will result in the immediate cancellation of your subscription and removal from the forum.

3. Community Conduct

  • Respectful Interaction: Personal attacks, abusive language, and harassment of any kind are strictly prohibited. All users are expected to treat others with respect and kindness.
  • Reporting Offensive Content: Users have the option to report any offensive comments, posts, or images. Reported content will be reviewed by the PHH moderation team, and appropriate action will be taken, which may include warnings, content removal, or account suspension.
  • No Unauthorized Medical Advice: Users are reminded that while sharing experiences is encouraged, providing unauthorized medical advice can be harmful. Please refrain from offering specific medical diagnoses or treatments unless you are a licensed veterinarian.

4. Account Termination

  • Violation of Terms: Any violation of these Terms of Use may result in the termination of your forum access and your PHH subscription. This includes, but is not limited to, posting offensive content, sharing unauthorized medical advice, and repeated violations of our community conduct guidelines.
  • Appeal Process: If your account is terminated, you may contact PHH support to appeal the decision. The PHH will review your case, but our decision is final.

5. Changes to the Terms of Use

PHH reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the revised terms on the forum. Your continued use of the forum after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
